"The former contract with SELECT already stood above the European standards and the new agreement enhances the conditions even more, which we perceive as further confirmation of the excellent reputation Czech professional football is currently enjoying," said Daniel Hajný, LFA Business and Marketing Director.
"We are delighted to have agreed on extending our successful co-operation with the League Football Association for another four seasons. We see Czech professional football as one of our most important partners, so we are pleased having the opportunity to contribute to its further progress and growth," said Jiří Melichar Jr., Director of mcompanies.cz that distributes SELECT balls within the Czech market.
In addition to a significant improvement in financial performance, the contract will also have the LFA member clubs receive more complimentary official balls prior to each season.
"The opinions of players, coaches and the clubs in general were also an important factor while deciding. The feedback has been nothing but positive since we started working with SELECT given its high quality and services. Thus, the contract extension will further strengthen our strategic partnership that has contributed to a qualitative shift in both competitions," Hajný emphasized.
The Chance Liga plays with the official SELECT ball from the 2022/23 season and the Chance Národní Liga from the 2024/25 season.
"We have already prepared the 2025/26 edition and I have no doubt that this ball will also attract the players and fans thanks to its mixture of original and modern design," added Hajný.
As a ball specialist, SELECT produces around 4 million balls each year for more than 50 countries worldwide. The Danish company supplies official balls to a number of competitions led by the German Bundesliga.
